Hey, I'm Curizma
A WESTERN CANADA BASED WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
Fun Facts
I'm a photographer inspired by the quiet poetry of everyday life, the way dreamy light softens a moment and the art of simply noticing. I believe the most meaningful photos aren't staged or forced. They're the fleeting glances, the laughter that spills out unexpectedly, the details you might otherwise overlook. My work is rooted in slowing down, paying attention, and turing ordinary moments into timeless photos.
I got engaged in July 2025 to my high school sweetheart Bradley
We have two cats together, Carl & Finn
I used to run a food truck/ ice-cream truck in the summers
I don't really drink coffee (I want to like it so bad I just can't get into it lol)
I've re-watched Grey's Anatomy + The Office way too many times it's actually embarrassing
My fav food is tacos or chicken strips (We need Raising Canes in Canada fr)

My home
I love art. The way I can document emotion, movement, and life in a single frame. Photography for me has become my way of celebrating love and every day I fall for it a little more, discovering new ways to see the world and the people in it. I love slowing down, appreciating life as it unfolds, and holding space for moments that often go unnoticed.
What I truly love though is the people. The connections I get to build, the relationships I'm welcomed into and the stories I get to witness and preserve. Travelling to new places, stepping into different lives for a day and being apart of these intimate, real experiences. It's a privilege I don't take for granted. Photography for me isn't just my work, it's how I experience the beauty, complexity and joy of life alongside others.
My loves:
-my fiancé Bradley (my highschool sweetheart!)
-our two cats (Carl +Finn)
-sunshine (I'm basically a plant)
-freshly washed bedding
-ambient lighting
-blankets
-black tea lemonade from starbucks
-Greys Anatomy (the early seasons lol) + The Office
-Canadian tuxedo
My not so loves:
-Coffee
-hot drinks
-winter driving
-north facing windows
-rushed mornings
Honestly I'm not much of a hater lol basically winter + no sunshine makes me sad :(
I was born and raised in the wide open prairies of Saskatchewan. The place where sunsets stretch for miles. Growing up surrounded by that stillness taught me to notice things. The way light changes a room, the way a moment can hold so much even when nothing 'big' is happening.
The prairies shaped my art in that way. Slow, observant, honest.
These days I travel far from home often, but that same rhythm follows me. Whether I'm on the coast or in a city, I'm always chasing that same feeling.
